Andrea to be part of the judging panel for enteries to the 2024 International Garden Festival, Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, France.

Andrea is delighted to be returning to France to help judge enteries for the 2024 International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire.

A World of Gardens' Talk and Garden Photography Masterclass
with Andrea Jones at Marchmont House, Scottish Borders.

Although the June 2023 workshop was postponed, a new date will be arranged for 2024. Please keep an eye on the websites for further details and how to book.

The postponed  2 - 4 June 2023 photography workshop and talk at Marchmont House in the Scottish Borders as part of the special Head Gardener's Weekend. 

During the  weekend Andrea was to present her Illustrated talk 'A World of Gardens' and lead an early bird Garden Photography Masterclass. She was to look at the wider garden views and close ups of the many plants in the gardens and conservatory at Marchmont House.

In 2024, a weekend workshop will be arranged and publicised. Please keep an eye on our website here and also the Marchmont House site for further updates.

RHS Photographic Competition 2022 - Winner of Gardens Category

Andrea was thrilled to hear she has won the Gardens Category of the 2022 RHS Photographic Competition. 

The winning photograph is called 'Illuminating the Past and Present'. 

It is a view from the encased window of Madresfield Court, a moated stately home in Worcestershire. The historic garden below had been recently redesigned by Tom Stuart-Smith.

Tom Stuart-Smith: Drawn from the Land

This wonderful limited edition book includes twenty-four of Stuart-Smith’s gardens from around the world. Andrea is over the moon that he has chosen some of her images to illustrate this volume and was touched by this mention in the credits: 'This book would not be much without the photography. In the old days Andrew Lawson and Jerry Harpur were endlessly generous and creative collaborators, more recently Marianne Majerus and Andrea Jones have taken the most beautiful pictures here.
