Andrea
Jones FRSA is one of the world’s leading plant, garden and landscape
photographers whose pictures have appeared in many books, magazines and
newspapers worldwide. These include Gardens Illustrated, Garden Design
(USA), House and Garden, Country Living, The Saturday Telegraph, The
Independent Magazine, Guardian Weekend, Times Weekend and National Geographic. |

In addition to her work for the press she has illustrated a number of books -
Bold Plants and Grasses and Bamboos both by Noel Kingsbury (1999), Lost Gardens
by Jennifer Potter (2000), Hardscape by Ann-Marie Powell (2001), Virgin Gardener
by Paul Thompson (2001). She was also involved in much of the photography during
the finding of the Lost Gardens of Heligan by Tim Smit.
She has travelled widely, particularly in the US and amongst other projects has an extensive archive of images taken at Chanticleer Garden, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Garden Writers of America Association, the UK Garden Writers Guild, the Association of Photographers and the British Association of Picture Agencies and Libraries. Her first solo book project, the critically-acclaimed Plantworlds(2005), is a remarkable photographic collection of the intimate details of plant life. Andrea is available for selected editorial and commercial commissions, as well as workshops, lectures and broadcast projects. She also exhibits her work around the world, having had several successful solo exhibitions in both the UK and US. The Garden Exposures Photo Library, established for 12 years, houses her ever expanding collection of photographs. Containing everything from contemporary plant portraits to classic, iconic garden images, it is held at our office in Scotland. All images are of the highest technical and aesthetic quality.
